Pastor Terry Jimmerson and his wife Tracy are originally from Alabama. They have been married for 15 years, and have 4 children; Cora, Grace, Isaiah and Isaac. 

Destiny Church began the day that God gave Pastor Terry, a dream of building a life-giving church focused on the simplicity of the gospel and the power of an intimate relationship with a loving God in the Las Vegas valley.

In July 2007, the Jimmersonson’s, held the first service in their living room with twenty people. After outgrowing their home, they started meeting weekly in a local park while sharing vision, connecting to families, and inviting friends. On January 20, 2008, Destiny had it’s 1st Sunday morning service at a local elementary school. With many challenges a growth we soon outgrew the elementary school and made a move to Tarkanian Middle School in August 2009. We are currently offering a warm and friendly environment to all who visit us for a Sunday morning experience.

Even as Destiny Church grows, Pastor Terry and Tracy are committed to keeping it a place where nothing gets in the way of people connecting with God. Destiny has brought a life-giving, Christ centered church to the heart of Southwest Las Vegas.  It is our hope and fondest wish that if you don't have a church home in Las Vegas, you would consider becoming a part of a dynamic and fast growing movement of people who are committed to growing, learning and improving one another together. We encourage you to have a look around and see what there is to learn about Destiny Church.
